Exhibition of Contemporary Photography – “Urban Sky”

Urban Sky

Exhibition of photographs by Milan Radovanović “Urban Sky,” August 21–September 11, 2013, Belgrade Art Hotel, Belgrade

The Institute for the Study of Culture and Christianity in cooperation with the Belgrade Art Hotel opened a solo exhibition of photographs by Milan Radovanović. Milan Radovanović’s exhibition was the second exhibition shown within the project Series of Exhibitions of Contemporary Photography on the Topic of Urban Motifs organized by the Institute for the Study of Culture and Christianity and the Belgrade Art Hotel. The exhibition Urban Sky represents transformation of the perception of urban environment into the photography with no people, where only sky and architecture are presented. Simplicity of the composition and the sense of emptiness, give impression that the artworks are emptied from any pre-existing meaning.
